2012: That's A Wrap!
I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. That, every single event, is connected to something leading to a bigger purpose, a better plan. When the road gets difficult, I've always had the support of God, family and friends. It's amazing what some perseverance and support can get a person through. I can think of several things this year that I've made it through that I maybe couldn't have a year ago - these things, too, along with all the good, have made me who I am today; each day, hopefully, a little bit better of a person, a wife, an auntie, sister, daughter, friend, coworker, boss, leader, maybe a little wiser, more appreciative & grateful.
Keeping that in mind, I am wrapping up 2012 and putting all the events into boxes - some of those boxes are beautiful - I'll likely pull them out from time to time - while others I will hope to never have to reopen, never have to take off the shelf. Some contain heartache and some contain so much joy that they are bursting at the seams.
Which boxes made me smile?
New friends.
Even closer relationships with some dear loved ones.
The end of a long survey journey @ work.
Ella: Goddaughter, niece.
New coworkers who have turned into wonderful friends.
Two little boys in Eau Claire.
New outdoor activities to do with my husband.
Max.
Which boxes [did I survive and] pushed me a little further in my faith?
Miscarriage.
Surgery.

BIL's accident.
PCOS.

Though it all my stance remains: Everything happens for a reason; sometimes it just takes awhile for the reason to surface. The important thing is to rely on God, friends & family through it all & you will always find some happiness.
Hoping all of you can wrap up your struggles and successes from 2012 and move forward.
